Memorandum from Mr. Péter Mód, the Permanent Representative of the Hungarian People's Republic to the United Nations, stating that many Hungarian citizens who left in connection with the uprising now wish to return to Hungary. Memorandum reaffirms the right of repatriation and calls on international organizations and receiving states to facilitate, rather than obstruct, this effort by providing accurate and timely information and assistance to those who wish to return to Hungary.
