Witness KKK, a member of a workers' council, gave a statement about the events at Győr. Witness LLL gave an account of the events at the radio building on 23 October in Budapest. János Hadik [pen name], an engineer, talked about the uranium mines; Sándor Hódi, a newspaperman, made a statement about the difficulties of the free press in Hungary. György Pálóczi-Horváth, writer and historian, made a statement. The committee asked him about the conduct of show trials and his opinion on the possibilities for changes to the ownership of land.
