Includes statements made by Hungary, Denmark, the Philippines, Argentina and the USSR. The Philippines maintained that there is no justification for the Soviet intervention, since even a request for intervention would be a pretext and not justified, given that there is nothing in the Warsaw Pact or the Soviet-Hungarian Peace Treaty which provides for such intervention.
