Number of Soviet troops stationed in Hungary has increased from 70,000 to 100-150,000; official data states that 600 people have been arrested and 89 executed, but unofficial numbers of arrestees is 2-5,000; the right to a fair trail has been curtailed; the norm system has been reestablished; voluntary return to collective system for peasants.
