Witness CC was imprisoned during the Rákosi regime. After the revolution he was captured and spent four weeks in a Russian military prison. Witness DD gave an account of the military operations he participated in as a freedom fighter. He was on a train to be deported to the Soviet Union on November 22 but liberated by freedom fighters at the border.
