Összefoglalás
The testimonies of Dr. Oliver Benjamin, Secretary General of the Hungarian Revolutionary Council (founded in Strasbourg, 1957) and Witness W, a doctor, and member of the Corvin group. Benjamin, a member of the newly organized Hungarian Social Democrat Party in the fall of 1956, gave an account of the first days of the revolution; he took part in the fighting at Kalvin Square. He saw Soviet tanks attacking a hospital and people lined up for bread at the Glaser Bakery. Witness W took an active part in the fighting as a doctor in Budapest, and was a member of the Corvin group.
