Összefoglalás
Request by the United States of America for the inclusion of the Question of Hungary on the session's agenda in view of the fact that none of the objectives of previous resolutions (including Soviet troop withdrawals; free elections; observance by the Hungarian authorities of fundamental human rights and freedoms) had been observed. Sir Leslie Munro reported that although terror remained a feature of Hungarian political life, it could be said to have been somewhat diminished. He reported that there were 8,000 to 15,000 political prisoners to date, and no amnesty proposals for the year.
