IUCW urges Assembly to safeguard children in accordance with Declaration of Geneva and International Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons. IUCW is assisting Hungarian refugee children through its delegation in Vienna but presses for restoration of ways to assist children within Hungary. IUCW appeals for patience and coordination of emergency and long-term relief efforts.
