Az Egyesült Nemzetek Szervezete 1956-os magyar kérdéssel foglalkozó Különbizottságának anyaga 3 523 digitalizált tételből áll. A válogatás az OSA fizikai állományában található, az ENSZ Közgyűlésében és az 1956-os Különbizottságban az 1956-os magyar forradalomról illetve annak utóhatásairól és következményeiről (1957-1958) zajló viták anyagából áll. A nem hivatalosan Héderváry gyűjteményként ismert válogatást az adományozó Héderváry Klára, az ENSZ belga-magyar származású munkatársa után nevezték el, aki szakértőként segítette a Bizottság tevékenységét és támogatta annak munkáját. A gyűjtemény 1956-1962 közötti időszakra vonatkozó ENSZ feljegyzésekből, levelezésekből, sajtóközleményekből, szemlékből és a témához kapcsolódó belső dokumentumokból áll. Az ENSZ Közgyűlése 1957. január 10-én fogadta el a 1132/XI. számú határozatot, amelynek értelmében létrehozták az öt tagállam (Ausztrália, Dánia, Ceylon, Tunézia és Uruguay) képviselőiből álló Különbizottságot, amelynek feladata az 1956-os magyar forradalom történéseinek vizsgálata és egy átfogó jelentés készítése volt. A Különbizottság jelentése a tanúkihallgatások feljegyzésein, emigráns szervezetek szakértői véleményein, média-tudósításokon, valamint az ENSZ és a magyar kormány levelezésén alapult, amelyben a Bizottság megállapította, hogy 1956 "ösztönös nemzeti felkelés" volt, amelyet a szovjet külső katonai agresszió elnyomott. A 1133/XI. számú határozatot 1957. szeptember 14-én fogadták el a jelentés ajánlásainak érvényesítése, beleértve a magyarországi fejlemények folyamatos nyomon követése céljából. Nagy Imre és társai titkos tárgyalását és 1958. június 16-i kivégzését követően a Bizottság tiltakozó nyilatkozatot bocsátott ki, továbbá egy második, kiegészítő jelentést állított össze a forradalom utáni megtorlásokról, az emberi jogok megsértéséről és a politikai perekről; a jelentést a 1312/XIII. számú 1958. december 13-án kelt határozattal hagyták jóvá. Ezt követően a Bizottság befejezte működését, és Sir Leslie Munroe, az ENSZ különmegbízottja, illetve tanácsadója, Héderváry Klára tartották a magyar kérdést napirenden egészen 1962-ig. Az ENSZ adatmegőrzési ütemterve szerint, a Különbizottság dokumentumait, feljegyzéseit, hangfelvételeit, háttéranyagait és a még két példányban keletkezett dokumentumait is meg kellett volna semmisíteni három év után. Ezen feljegyzések jelentős részét Héderváry Klára megtartotta, majd letétbe helyezte a Stanford Egyetem Hoover Intézetében. 1998-ban a gyűjteményt a Magyar Országos Széchényi Könyvtár Kézirattárának adományozta, ahol az jelenleg is megtalálható és elérhető a nyilvánosság számára.

A digitális gyűjtemény 70 292 darab, a Szabad Európa Rádió (RFE) Hír- és Információs Osztálya által 1951-1957 között több nyelven íródott, a vasfüggöny mögötti politikai, gazdasági, szociális és kulturális kérdésekkel – mint például a hatalmon lévő Kommunista Párt, az államapparátus szervezete, vagy a mindennapi élet mikro-szintű tevékenységei – foglalkozó dokumentumból áll. Az információs anyagokat az RFE müncheni irodájában állították össze az 1951-1956 között működő területi irodákból érkező forrás(ok) alapján: interjúk és beszélgetések feljegyzései, riportok, rádióműsor összefoglalók, beérkezett levelek, hivatalos dokumentumok nem hivatalos fordítása. Az gyűjtemény nagy része az emigránsokkal, turista vagy üzleti céllal nyugatra utazó személyekkel és disszidensekkel készült interjúk átiratából áll. Az információt átadó személyek névtelenek maradtak, a tanúvallomások hihetőségét pedig a csehszlovák, bolgár, magyar, lengyel és román értékelők ellenőrizték, bár ez nem mindig volt lehetséges. A kész anyagokat stencilgépen sokszorosítottak és 140-200 közötti példányszámban terjesztették. Habár a kapott információt angolul írták le, akad egy-két eredeti nyelven készült kivonat is. Az 1951-1972 között előállított teljes információs dokumentum-mennyiségnek csak egy része maradt fenn, az viszont mind ebben a gyűjteményben található meg, s olyan témákat ölel fel, mint propaganda és kommunikáció, ellenállás és tisztogatások, párt- és állami apparátusszervezet, valamint makrogazdasági kérdések, politika, és antikommunista mozgalmak, informális gazdaság (vesztegetés, korrupció, seftelés), politikai korrupció (alibik, kémek, deviáns személyek) és kisebb mértékű felforgató megmozdulások (viccek, plakátok).

A digitális gyűjtemény 70 292 darab, a Szabad Európa Rádió (RFE) Hír- és Információs Osztálya által 1951-1957 között több nyelven íródott, a vasfüggöny mögötti politikai, gazdasági, szociális és kulturális kérdésekkel – mint például a hatalmon lévő Kommunista Párt, az államapparátus szervezete, vagy a mindennapi élet mikro-szintű tevékenységei – foglalkozó dokumentumból áll. Az információs anyagokat az RFE müncheni irodájában állították össze az 1951-1956 között működő területi irodákból érkező forrás(ok) alapján: interjúk és beszélgetések feljegyzései, riportok, rádióműsor összefoglalók, beérkezett levelek, hivatalos dokumentumok nem hivatalos fordítása. Az gyűjtemény nagy része az emigránsokkal, turista vagy üzleti céllal nyugatra utazó személyekkel és disszidensekkel készült interjúk átiratából áll. Az információt átadó személyek névtelenek maradtak, a tanúvallomások hihetőségét pedig a csehszlovák, bolgár, magyar, lengyel és román értékelők ellenőrizték, bár ez nem mindig volt lehetséges. A kész anyagokat stencilgépen sokszorosítottak és 140-200 közötti példányszámban terjesztették. Habár a kapott információt angolul írták le, akad egy-két eredeti nyelven készült kivonat is. Az 1951-1972 között előállított teljes információs dokumentum-mennyiségnek csak egy része maradt fenn, az viszont mind ebben a gyűjteményben található meg, s olyan témákat ölel fel, mint propaganda és kommunikáció, ellenállás és tisztogatások, párt- és állami apparátusszervezet, valamint makrogazdasági kérdések, politika, és antikommunista mozgalmak, informális gazdaság (vesztegetés, korrupció, seftelés), politikai korrupció (alibik, kémek, deviáns személyek) és kisebb mértékű felforgató megmozdulások (viccek, plakátok).

Az Egyesült Nemzetek Szervezete 1956-os magyar kérdéssel foglalkozó Különbizottságának anyaga 3 523 digitalizált tételből áll. A válogatás az OSA fizikai állományában található, az ENSZ Közgyűlésében és az 1956-os Különbizottságban az 1956-os magyar forradalomról illetve annak utóhatásairól és következményeiről (1957-1958) zajló viták anyagából áll. A nem hivatalosan Héderváry gyűjteményként ismert válogatást az adományozó Héderváry Klára, az ENSZ belga-magyar származású munkatársa után nevezték el, aki szakértőként segítette a Bizottság tevékenységét és támogatta annak munkáját. A gyűjtemény 1956-1962 közötti időszakra vonatkozó ENSZ feljegyzésekből, levelezésekből, sajtóközleményekből, szemlékből és a témához kapcsolódó belső dokumentumokból áll. Az ENSZ Közgyűlése 1957. január 10-én fogadta el a 1132/XI. számú határozatot, amelynek értelmében létrehozták az öt tagállam (Ausztrália, Dánia, Ceylon, Tunézia és Uruguay) képviselőiből álló Különbizottságot, amelynek feladata az 1956-os magyar forradalom történéseinek vizsgálata és egy átfogó jelentés készítése volt. A Különbizottság jelentése a tanúkihallgatások feljegyzésein, emigráns szervezetek szakértői véleményein, média-tudósításokon, valamint az ENSZ és a magyar kormány levelezésén alapult, amelyben a Bizottság megállapította, hogy 1956 "ösztönös nemzeti felkelés" volt, amelyet a szovjet külső katonai agresszió elnyomott. A 1133/XI. számú határozatot 1957. szeptember 14-én fogadták el a jelentés ajánlásainak érvényesítése, beleértve a magyarországi fejlemények folyamatos nyomon követése céljából. Nagy Imre és társai titkos tárgyalását és 1958. június 16-i kivégzését követően a Bizottság tiltakozó nyilatkozatot bocsátott ki, továbbá egy második, kiegészítő jelentést állított össze a forradalom utáni megtorlásokról, az emberi jogok megsértéséről és a politikai perekről; a jelentést a 1312/XIII. számú 1958. december 13-án kelt határozattal hagyták jóvá. Ezt követően a Bizottság befejezte működését, és Sir Leslie Munroe, az ENSZ különmegbízottja, illetve tanácsadója, Héderváry Klára tartották a magyar kérdést napirenden egészen 1962-ig. Az Egyesült Nemzetek Szervezete 1956-os magyar kérdéssel foglalkozó Különbizottságának anyaga 3 523 digitalizált tételből áll. A válogatás az OSA fizikai állományában található, az ENSZ Közgyűlésében és az 1956-os Különbizottságban az 1956-os magyar forradalomról illetve annak utóhatásairól és következményeiről (1957-1958) zajló viták anyagából áll. A nem hivatalosan Héderváry gyűjteményként ismert válogatást az adományozó Héderváry Klára, az ENSZ belga-magyar származású munkatársa után nevezték el, aki szakértőként segítette a Bizottság tevékenységét és támogatta annak munkáját. A gyűjtemény 1956-1962 közötti időszakra vonatkozó ENSZ feljegyzésekből, levelezésekből, sajtóközleményekből, szemlékből és a témához kapcsolódó belső dokumentumokból áll. Az ENSZ Közgyűlése 1957. január 10-én fogadta el a 1132/XI. számú határozatot, amelynek értelmében létrehozták az öt tagállam (Ausztrália, Dánia, Ceylon, Tunézia és Uruguay) képviselőiből álló Különbizottságot, amelynek feladata az 1956-os magyar forradalom történéseinek vizsgálata és egy átfogó jelentés készítése volt. A Különbizottság jelentése a tanúkihallgatások feljegyzésein, emigráns szervezetek szakértői véleményein, média-tudósításokon, valamint az ENSZ és a magyar kormány levelezésén alapult, amelyben a Bizottság megállapította, hogy 1956 "ösztönös nemzeti felkelés" volt, amelyet a szovjet külső katonai agresszió elnyomott. A 1133/XI. számú határozatot 1957. szeptember 14-én fogadták el a jelentés ajánlásainak érvényesítése, beleértve a magyarországi fejlemények folyamatos nyomon követése céljából. Nagy Imre és társai titkos tárgyalását és 1958. június 16-i kivégzését követően a Bizottság tiltakozó nyilatkozatot bocsátott ki, továbbá egy második, kiegészítő jelentést állított össze a forradalom utáni megtorlásokról, az emberi jogok megsértéséről és a politikai perekről; a jelentést a 1312/XIII. számú 1958. december 13-án kelt határozattal hagyták jóvá. Ezt követően a Bizottság befejezte működését, és Sir Leslie Munroe, az ENSZ különmegbízottja, illetve tanácsadója, Héderváry Klára tartották a magyar kérdést napirenden egészen 1962-ig. Az ENSZ adatmegőrzési ütemterve szerint, a Különbizottság dokumentumait, feljegyzéseit, hangfelvételeit, háttéranyagait és a még két példányban keletkezett dokumentumait is meg kellett volna semmisíteni három év után. Ezen feljegyzések jelentős részét Héderváry Klára megtartotta, majd letétbe helyezte a Stanford Egyetem Hoover Intézetében. 1998-ban a gyűjteményt a Magyar Országos Széchényi Könyvtár Kézirattárának adományozta, ahol az jelenleg is megtalálható és elérhető a nyilvánosság számára.

A digitális gyűjtemény 70 292 darab, a Szabad Európa Rádió (RFE) Hír- és Információs Osztálya által 1951-1957 között több nyelven íródott, a vasfüggöny mögötti politikai, gazdasági, szociális és kulturális kérdésekkel – mint például a hatalmon lévő Kommunista Párt, az államapparátus szervezete, vagy a mindennapi élet mikro-szintű tevékenységei – foglalkozó dokumentumból áll. Az információs anyagokat az RFE müncheni irodájában állították össze az 1951-1956 között működő területi irodákból érkező forrás(ok) alapján: interjúk és beszélgetések feljegyzései, riportok, rádióműsor összefoglalók, beérkezett levelek, hivatalos dokumentumok nem hivatalos fordítása. Az gyűjtemény nagy része az emigránsokkal, turista vagy üzleti céllal nyugatra utazó személyekkel és disszidensekkel készült interjúk átiratából áll. Az információt átadó személyek névtelenek maradtak, a tanúvallomások hihetőségét pedig a csehszlovák, bolgár, magyar, lengyel és román értékelők ellenőrizték, bár ez nem mindig volt lehetséges. A kész anyagokat stencilgépen sokszorosítottak és 140-200 közötti példányszámban terjesztették. Habár a kapott információt angolul írták le, akad egy-két eredeti nyelven készült kivonat is. Az 1951-1972 között előállított teljes információs dokumentum-mennyiségnek csak egy része maradt fenn, az viszont mind ebben a gyűjteményben található meg, s olyan témákat ölel fel, mint propaganda és kommunikáció, ellenállás és tisztogatások, párt- és állami apparátusszervezet, valamint makrogazdasági kérdések, politika, és antikommunista mozgalmak, informális gazdaság (vesztegetés, korrupció, seftelés), politikai korrupció (alibik, kémek, deviáns személyek) és kisebb mértékű felforgató megmozdulások (viccek, plakátok).

A digitális gyűjtemény 70 292 darab, a Szabad Európa Rádió (RFE) Hír- és Információs Osztálya által 1951-1957 között több nyelven íródott, a vasfüggöny mögötti politikai, gazdasági, szociális és kulturális kérdésekkel – mint például a hatalmon lévő Kommunista Párt, az államapparátus szervezete, vagy a mindennapi élet mikro-szintű tevékenységei – foglalkozó dokumentumból áll. Az információs anyagokat az RFE müncheni irodájában állították össze az 1951-1956 között működő területi irodákból érkező forrás(ok) alapján: interjúk és beszélgetések feljegyzései, riportok, rádióműsor összefoglalók, beérkezett levelek, hivatalos dokumentumok nem hivatalos fordítása. Az gyűjtemény nagy része az emigránsokkal, turista vagy üzleti céllal nyugatra utazó személyekkel és disszidensekkel készült interjúk átiratából áll. Az információt átadó személyek névtelenek maradtak, a tanúvallomások hihetőségét pedig a csehszlovák, bolgár, magyar, lengyel és román értékelők ellenőrizték, bár ez nem mindig volt lehetséges. A kész anyagokat stencilgépen sokszorosítottak és 140-200 közötti példányszámban terjesztették. Habár a kapott információt angolul írták le, akad egy-két eredeti nyelven készült kivonat is. Az 1951-1972 között előállított teljes információs dokumentum-mennyiségnek csak egy része maradt fenn, az viszont mind ebben a gyűjteményben található meg, s olyan témákat ölel fel, mint propaganda és kommunikáció, ellenállás és tisztogatások, párt- és állami apparátusszervezet, valamint makrogazdasági kérdések, politika, és antikommunista mozgalmak, informális gazdaság (vesztegetés, korrupció, seftelés), politikai korrupció (alibik, kémek, deviáns személyek) és kisebb mértékű felforgató megmozdulások (viccek, plakátok).
