    <dcterms:abstract><![CDATA[Their view is that based on the UN principle that every nation is entitled to exercise and enjoy its fundamental human rights freely without the intervention or interference of any other nation. People in Hungary were engaged in what appears to be a national uprising in the fall of 1956, whose aim was to achieve changes in their political system towards liberalization and democratization. However, the Indonesian delegation opposes the tone of the UN resolution which is very accusatory, it does not believe that the objective of helping the people of Hungary can be achieved this way and, as a result, is not able to formulate a definitive judgment on the question and consequently finds itself in no position to take a positive stand on the resolution.]]></dcterms:abstract>

    <dcterms:abstract><![CDATA[Refutes all accusations from the USSR that the United States planned the mass uprising of the Hungarian people and that it was a counter-revolution rather than a spontaneous uprising. The truth is that the Hungarian government had to call for help from Soviet army troops, it is strange that it did not call for the Hungarian army, a sizeable military force. It is clear throughout the years of Soviet rule in Hungary, the regime was unable to arm Hungarians to handle an anti-Soviet mobilization in Budapest.]]></dcterms:abstract>
